5 for Frogs

The world’s frogs are in trouble. Help save them through acts of kindness involving the number 5.

5 for Frogs is a fundraising campaign encouraging children and adults to do their part to help frogs and other amphibians, and it's fun!   

Anyone can participate by telling 5 people about the amphibian crisis and committing to an activity that will raise money in any amount of ‘5’. The time frame for raising funds should be 5 days, 5 weeks or 5 months between 5 August and 31 December 2008 – it’s your choice! 

There are many fun and easy ways that you can be involved in the campaign, such as:

• Telling 5 people about the amphibian crisis
• Doing 5 chores around the house to raise $5
• Selling frog shaped cookies and frog juice for 50 cents
• Learning about 5 different frogs
• Guessing Competition - fill a jar with frog lollies and charge 50¢ per guess
• Bringing lunch to work for 5 days and donate the money saved
• Hold a movie night and charge $5 entry
• Cycle to work for 5 days and donate the petrol money saved
