Zoo Camp

Zoo Camp is a great opportunity to discover Perth Zoo after dark. Imagine your students bedding down for the night surrounded by Zoo animals, waking to the roar of the Sumatran Tigers and experiencing the morning chorus of birds, gibbons and elephants.

Students will:

  • learn the importance of conservation through engaging evening activities;
  • create special enrichment items to be given to the animals;
  • prepare a BBQ dinner as the animals settle in for the night;
  • set up 'camp' undercover in the Zoo's spacious barn;
  • witness the early morning routines of animals and staff on a guided Zoo tour; and
  • spend the day in the stimulating learning environment of Perth Zoo.

Zoo Camp is educational and fun and provides Living Links to the Curriculum Framework, making it easy for teachers who want to incorporate this visit into their learning program.

Zoo CampBookings are essential but don't delay as Zoo Camp places quickly book out.

Zoo Camps are run during Term 1 and Term 4.

Years 4 to 8
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights
$65 per student

A great start to the year, including team building opportunities while taking part in conservation action.
