  • next to the Zoo (off Mill Point Road) PAID per park

Short-stay parking is available on the streets surrounding Perth Zoo (FREE)

This map shows where you can park.

Information Centre

The Information Centre is open until 3pm daily and can provide the latest news on presentations, exhibits and animals. Just inside the entrance and filled with everything you need to know to start your day. Find out what’s on today, buy a Zoo Map, ask about the animals or get directions. Our friendly volunteers are only too happy to help you.

Toilets

Toilets are clearly marked on the Zoo Map and on signage around the Zoo. On arrival, the nearest toilets are just behind the Information Centre. Please be aware that there are no convenient toilets from the Savannah to the Asian Rainforest, so it pays to plan convenience stops ahead of those areas.

Baby Change

Baby change facilities are available behind the Information Centre and at the Café (see the Zoo Map). Disability toilets at other locations also include simple change-tables. A microwave for warming babies milk/food is available in the room behind the Information Centre.

Wagon for HireStroller/Wagon Hire

State of the art strollers/prams or two-seater, pull-along buggies can help you move small children around Perth Zoo. Both are available for hire from the front entrance at a cost of $12 for the whole day. A driver's licence or credit card must be presented for security reasons. Alternatively, a $50.00 returnable bond may be left.

Zebra Car Tours Zebra Car available for hire

Zebra Cars are 8 seater (7 people and driver) electric vehicles that take 1 hour guided tours around the Zoo. Your guide can tailor a tour experience to suit you or you can leave yourself in their experienced hands and enjoy a relaxed tour. Tours are $3.50 per adult or $2.50 per concession (babies/toddlers on laps are free)

Lockers

Self-service lockers are available for hire, just inside the main entrance at the Zoo. Lockers are available in two sizes, $1.00 (small) and $2.00 (large) per use and are designed to 'lock and leave'. Please plan carefully as these lockers require a new coin every time you re-lock the door.

Free electric BBQs and picnic tables are available on the Zoo’s Main Lawn at the heart of the Zoo. It is not possible to bring your own BBQ.
