National Science Week Professional Learning
Teacher Professional Learning
Join us for a special Professional Learning to increase your knowledge, participate in hands on activities and explore ways to get your students involved in Science Week 2024.
Suitable for teachers from K-year 10, with a focus on the theme Species Survival. More Than Just Sustainability, there will be the opportunity to:
- meet some of the Perth Zoo team who work on conservation action projects and go behind the scenes to view our research areas.
- increase your understanding on how to conduct native habitat and wildlife surveys in your school community.
- gain skills on how to collect and analyse measurable data with your students.
- find out more information on how your school can get involved in action for conservation projects with Perth Zoo.
You will be provided with a resource kit only offered through the PL session.
Date: Thursday 4 July 2024
Time: 9.00am-3.00pm
Cost: $80 per person. All fees are GST inclusive.
Please note: Prices subject to change. Cost includes Zoo entry, lunch and refreshments.
